Dont miss out on something that could be great just because it could also be difficult

Took these pictures like a year ago while I was in New York  ..

Hey everyone.. I know it's been a long time since I posted something but I just don't seem to have any inspiration to write something good enough.. not creativity at all.
Moving right along.......

So.. it's Christmas time and ya'all know what that means !

  • hot chocolate in bed
  • cuddling
  • eating
  • sleeping
  • going out for walks
  • etc.

  Well..no ! not for me. At least not until I finish with my college application and portfolio.
JUST KIDDING ! I want to organize my time so I can do everything that includes christmas and my responsibilities.
It's so stressful but sometimes you just have to decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it and just do what you can do and if you succeed you'll know that you gave your best self.. if not you'll know that you didn't try hard enough.

  I mean.. look at those pictures! You can't just not fall in love with the city! Once you've been there and have seen what New York city means you just want to go there over and over again.
  I just don't wanna leave Greece with the though that I'm leaving people I love behind. I know that sometimes you just have to do things for yourself and that we're all in our own little worlds and that we are born alone and we die alone but..! who would I be if I didn't have my family? Who would I be today if I didn't have my friends and boyfriend? I would be a different person. I am who I am because of the people who support and love me.

And since I'm really into poetry lately here's a poem I read and liked:

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

-Rudyard Kipling
